An In-House Approach to Outside Counsel

With Wanless, you can rest easy knowing your legal needs will be handled professionally, ethically, and cost-effectively. Our approach is simple – you hire us as your fractional general counsel based on the estimated number of monthly hours you need per the subscription tiers below, and Wanless steps into your business as your dedicated, go-to legal support.

If there is a special project or need you have that Wanless cannot handle directly, we will work with you to build a budget based on our experience, resource external counsel or other vendors through our professional network of providers, and manage those resources for you – just like your own in-house general counsel!

A La Carte Legal Services

Not all organizations need or want soup-to-nuts general counsel support and that’s ok. That’s why Wanless also offers a la carte legal services for select projects or limited engagements. Wanless will work with you to build a budget around your needs or project(s). A la carte services are billed at $400/hr and may be subject to a retainer depending on the project scope and length.

Fractional General Counsel Subscriptions

Our subscription tiers are intentionally designed to specifically meet your organization’s current needs while allowing us to “grow” with you without having to constantly revisit fees or monitor billable hours. The subscription process is simple – after a free consultation you select a tier based on your needs, you sign some paperwork, and that’s it – you have your own general counsel support! At the beginning of each month, your subscription fee will automatically invoiced. You can change your subscription tier at any time or cancel altogether, subject to a standard notice term.

  • Tier 0: 5 -10 hours/month @ $3,750/month 

  • Tier 1: 10 – 20 hours/month @ $7,000/month 

  • Tier 2: 20 -30 hours/month @ $9,750/month 

  • Tier 3: 30 - 40 hours/month @ $12,000/month 

  • Tier 4: 40 – 60 hours/month @ $15,000/month

  • Tier 5: 60+ hours/month @ Negotiated Fee
